InstantBrew is a simple Fabric mod for Minecraft 26.2 that allows you to configure the brewing speed of potions. Adjust the brew time from instant to vanilla (or anywhere in between) via an in-game config screen.

What It Does

• Adjust brewing speed – Set the brew time from 1 tick (instant) to 400 ticks (vanilla, 20 seconds) – or anything in between.
• In-game configuration – Change settings on the fly using the Mod Menu integration.
• Toggle on/off – Enable or disable the mod without restarting your game.
• No performance impact – Lightweight and efficient, just overrides a single value.

How It Works

• Configurable via Mod Menu – If you have Mod Menu installed, simply click the “Configure” button in the mods list.
• Manual config – Settings are stored in config/instantbrew.json. Edit it with any text editor.
• Brew time values:
• 1 = Instant (1 tick)
• 20 = 1 second
• 200 = 10 seconds
• 400 = Max/Vanilla (20 seconds)

• Java 25 or later
• Fabric API (latest)

Important Information

• Server-side mod – Works on dedicated servers; install it server-side for multiplayer.
• Client installation – If playing singleplayer or as a LAN host, install on the client (the internal server runs it).
