## 🛢️ Database Configuration

**No setup required! (26.1.2)** The mod works out of the box using a local SQLite database file (`config/infinity_nexus_market/market.db`). Just drop the jar in the mods folder and play — perfect for playing with friends without any database server.

Optional: for high-volume servers with many automated machines buying and selling nonstop, you can switch to a dedicated MySQL server for better performance by setting `storage_type = “mysql”` in the mod config and filling in your MySQL connection details (ip, port, database, username, password).

All required tables are created automatically on first startup, in both modes.

## 📦 Adding Server Items

To add items as server items (items that never expire and never run out), the server owner/op must:

1. Switch to Creative mode

2. Place a Vending Machine

3. This will automatically tag the machine as a “Server” machine

4. Add items to the vending machine that you want to sell as server items

5. These items will appear in the market for all players and will never expire or run out

Server items are perfect for selling essential items, rare materials, or custom rewards that should always be available to players.
