ImmersiveVFX is a mod that completely overhauls the appearance and atmosphere of every single biome and dimension in Minecraft while preserving the vanilla aesthetic.

Water features realistic foam and underwater caustics projected onto the ocean floor. Various particle effects, fireflies, ambient fog, and ground fog bring the world to life while maintaining Minecraft’s original visual style.

ImmersiveVFX also introduces custom weather and atmospheric events, such as sand winds, sandstorms, auroras, heavy rainfall, and much more.

Placed blocks feature smooth, bouncy placement animations, making building feel more satisfying and giving the entire Minecraft experience a cinematic, trailer-like appearance.

Additionally, ImmersiveVFX introduces beautiful pixelated shadows that blend naturally with Minecraft’s vanilla art style without making the game look like it’s running a heavy shader pack. The goal is to enhance Minecraft’s visuals rather than completely change its identity.

Performance

Compared to shaders like Complementary Reimaged this all-in-one Effect and Shader mod has x2 up to 3x as much performance compared to Iris + Sodium + Complementary Reimaged

The mod is currently in alpha state! bugs may occur, performance might drop. If so please leave a comment and a report.

Iris and Sodium Support

ImmersiveVFX is compatible with Sodium but NOT with Iris however:

IFVX is a all-in-one Effect and Shader Mod! If you still want to combine ImmersiveVFX with your favorite shaders, you can individually enable or disable specific effects in the ImmersiveVFX configuration to create your preferred visual experience.
