IE-FE-Converter

A small bridge between Faktocrafts Energy (IE) and Forge Energy (FE).

Faktocraft uses its own energy system, which is not compatible with the FE-based energy of most other mods. This addon adds a single block that converts Faktocraft energy (IE) into Forge Energy (FE), so your Faktocraft generators can power machines and storage from other mods.

• Temporary solution: This mod is meant as a stopgap until Faktocraft ships its own built-in energy converter. Once that happens, this addon will no longer be needed.

How it works

1. Connect the “IE->FE Converter” to your Faktocraft cables or machines.
2. Place any block that accepts FE directly next to the converter.
3. The converter turns Faktocraft energy (IE) into Forge Energy (FE) and pushes it into every adjacent FE receiver.

The converter accepts all Faktocraft voltage tiers, so it will not explode when connected to high-tier cables.

Configuration

The config file iefeconverter-synced.toml lets you change:

• fePerUnit: how many FE you get per IE energy unit (default: 8) 
• maxFePerTick: maximum FE the converter outputs per tick 
• bufferUnits: size of the internal energy buffer
