IDEAS

IDEAS brings building families, mushroom processing, custom environments, redstone components, and practical survival tools into one Fabric mod.

Available Minecraft versions

Fabric files are available for 1.19.2, 1.20.1, 1.20.3, 1.20.4, 1.21, 1.21.1, 1.21.4, 1.21.6, 1.21.11, 26.1, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3. Choose your version in Files. Features and material catalogs can differ between ports; read the selected file’s changelog before updating an existing world.

What it adds

• Building options including slabs, stairs, vertical slabs, doors, trapdoors, and architectural pieces.
• Expanded woodwork, storage, ladders, bookshelves, and woodcutting.
• Custom mushroom models, dried mushroom items, powders, infusions, lighting, and brewing content.
• Custom biomes, trees, and environments, including the Chromatic Realm, Aurora, and Somnara.
• Redstone logic, thresholds, delays, and workshop components.
• Inventory, planting, harvesting, navigation, and building conveniences.

Installation

Install this mod and the matching Fabric API on both client and server. Select the exact Minecraft version from the Files tab. Use Java 17 for the listed 1.19/1.20 ports, Java 21 for the listed 1.21 ports, and Java 25 for 26.x. Each file’s changelog lists its required Fabric Loader and Fabric API versions.

Current version-specific port files bundle Mo Glass and MoreLadders. Trailcraft, Glassworks and Farmhand are included, and More Dyes is integrated directly. Do not add duplicate standalone copies. Historical snapshot files have different requirements; follow the changelog of the exact file you select.

Included workshop modules

• Trailcraft: craftable per-item waypoint markers for returning to discovered places, without teleportation.
• Glassworks: intact glass recovery using the glass cutter, plus lossy pane recycling through the pane press.
• Farmhand: row planting that consumes real planting items from the offhand.

The Chromatic Dye Basin, RGB color system, and creator-supplied More Dyes colour families are IDEAS content. The More Dyes source and supplied textures are integrated directly.

Beta status

IDEAS contains experimental features and remains Beta. The current corrected ports passed exact standalone and nine-project client/server regression checks with native visual review. Back up existing worlds before using them; long-session performance and exhaustive feature interactions are not established. Older ports use materials available in their target Minecraft version.

Credits and component licenses

Original IDEAS work includes contributed Earthstar and dried Earthstar artwork, along with original carved-wood artwork. No private contributor names are published here.

IDEAS includes or adapts components from MoreLadders by nieboczek; More Barrel Variants, More Chiseled Bookshelf Variants, More Bookshelf Variants, and More Chest Variants by their respective contributors including pnk2u and LieOnLion; More Block Styles by StarN1ght and ZanderNotch; and Nemo’s Woodcutter by NemoNotFound. More Dyes was created for IDEAS by the project owner. Its eight colour families and textures are not an externally authored dependency.

These components retain their respective license terms and attribution; this distribution is not CC0-only. Fabric API remains a separate dependency. Current ports bundle Mo Glass with its applicable license notices; consult the selected file for corresponding source and component attribution.
