The mod code was created by AI, but the concept, lore, and effect icons were created by me.

This mod adds hyperparasites to the game. The concept of these creatures is inspired by the real phenomenon of hyperparasitism in nature. Unlike many parasite mods, here they are interested in their hosts — zombies. This version is not yet a finished mod and adds only a few things from the full version, which is not yet ready.

At the moment, the mod includes a basic hyperparasite — the infector. It appears in any biome of the overworld at night, starting from the fifth night. Its goal is to apply the infected again effect to any zombie‑infected mobs. This effect causes the mob to attack any nearby mobs, with the exception of infectors and mobs under the infected again effect. This version ends here, but updates are planned to include infection mechanics, other hyperparasites, etc.
