Historically Accurate

What does this mod add?

Historically Accurate features a variety of additions based on real history. Currently, the mod is in early development, with the only released version being a test run. I am currently working on a 26.2 version of the mod with more features than the current release.

The mod’s most current version adds:

• Food – Porridge, Oats (crafted from wheat), Tomatoes, Beer, Yeast
• Tools/Weapons – Copper, Brass and Steel Pickaxes, Axes, Shovels, Hoes, Hammers, and Falchions
• Steel and Brass
• Zinc – Its ores, “Sphalerite” and “Hemimorphite”, in three different qualities (Poor, Medium, Rich)
• A new copper ore to replace the vanilla one called Malachite
• A Crucible furnace with custom recipes

Planned features

Future 26.2 versions will feature:

• Further early-game tech development (more flint tools, etc.)
• Backpacks (with hotkey)
• Expanded food/cooking/farming systems
• Alcohol brewing
• Armor and additional weaponry
• Animals
• Biomes / Climate overhaul
• Weather

A note on updates and forks.

I will try to update the mod to the newest Minecraft versions as often as possible, however I do not want to use beta NeoForge versions – meaning that for example a 26.3 version will have to wait for the corresponding NeoForge version to be released.

I currently have no plans on forking the mod to Fabric, Quilt or let alone Forge. I am still working on key parts of the mod and need to get it ready for an official, content packed release before I start thinking about remaking the mod on other Loaders.
