Halloween: Revive Your Family is a story-driven, gothic horror adventure mod for Minecraft Fabric. Transforming your game into an atmospheric escape-and-rescue thriller, it blends stealth survival, intricate environmental puzzles, and multi-phase boss encounters across a massive custom estate—featuring a haunted manor, a forgotten village, ancient crypts, dungeons, and subterranean catacombs.

🦇 Key Horror Mechanics

• 👁️ The Matron (The Relentless Stalker): A terrifying, unkillable entity patrols the mansion corridors. She listens closely—sprinting, jumping, and opening doors make sound that attracts her. Crouch to sneak, listen for her haunting heartbeat, and do not let her corner you.
• 🚪 Wardrobes & Stealth: When the heartbeat speeds up, dive into the nearest wardrobe and hold your breath. If you made noise right outside, she will inspect your hiding spot!
• 🏮 The Old Lantern: Dark corners hold real danger. Carrying your lantern provides a comforting radius of light and temporarily blinds pursuing ghosts, buying you precious seconds to escape.
• ⏳ The 5-Day Cycle: If the Matron claims you, you awaken with another day lost. Break the curse and revive your family before Day 5 ends, or be trapped forever.
• 🧭 In-Game Quest Compass: Never get lost. Press H at any time to view the menu, or type /halloween guide in chat to see your active objective, hints, and direct XYZ coordinates.

🗺️ What To Do in the Mod (Complete Walkthrough)

🌑 Act I: The Haunted Manor

1. The Awakening: You wake up inside the void of the Black Room. Walk up to the glowing altar block and right-click it to trigger the ritual and manifest the estate.
2. Light Your Way: Walk through the front iron gate into the mansion’s Grand Hall. Check the chest immediately to your right to claim your Old Lantern. Keep it in your off-hand or main hand.
3. The Kitchen & Mansion Key: Sneak east (left) through the dining area into the Kitchen. Locate the chest in the far corner to obtain the Mansion Key.
4. Ascend Upstairs: Return to the Grand Hall and unlock the heavy wooden door on the north back wall with your key. Climb the grand staircase to the second floor.
5. The Master Bedroom: Move west into the master bedroom. Search the wardrobe and chest to find the Silver Key. Keep quiet—ghosts and the Matron roam these upper halls.
6. The Gallery of Portraits: Go north into the Gallery lined with ancestral paintings. Unlock the silver door on the east wall with your Silver Key.
7. The 3 Family Photos & Revival Altar:
   • Photo #1 (The Library): Solve the bookshelf book puzzle. The sequence is revealed by the order of the family portraits in the gallery!
   • Photo #2 (Kids’ Room): Loot the chest inside the children’s quarters.
   • Photo #3 (The Attic): Climb the ladder hidden inside the Nursery into the dark attic rafters to find the chest.
8. Awaken the Ritual: Bring all 3 photos down to the Revival Altar in the Grand Hall and place them. The altar will descend into the floor as a distant church bell begins to toll.

⛪ Act II: The Forsaken Village & The Crypt

1. The East Road: Head back through the front yard to the Black Room where you first spawned. Its previously locked East Gate is now open. Follow the winding cobblestone path into the abandoned village.
2. The Priest’s Journal: Enter the first cottage on your left. Read the priest’s diary to learn of the church and the secret buried beneath the cemetery.
3. The Graveyard Deduction: Cross over to the cemetery and enter the church to find the second journal. Match the dates and epitaphs on the headstones to find the one true grave hiding the Crypt Key. (Warning: Digging the wrong grave will summon restless phantoms!)
4. Boss Battle — The Soul Collector: Descend into the graveyard crypt at the north-east corner.

• Tactics: The Collector is shielded by 4 unholy soul lanterns in the corners. Dodge his soul bolts, sprint to extinguish all 4 lanterns, and strike him while his ward is down to claim the Tower Key.

1. The Clock Tower: Take the road east to the courtyard gate and unlock it with the Tower Key. Enter the clock tower and adjust the two brass dials (Hours and Minutes) to match the exact hour the curse struck (revealed in the priest’s logs). A heavy iron rumble will echo beneath the mansion.

🗝️ Act III: The Depths & The Final Deliverance

1. The Cellar Boiler: Return to the Grand Hall. The iron grate in the floor has opened! Descend into the cellar and find the Boiler Room to the west. Adjust the 3 steam valves according to the engineer’s pressure log.
2. The Workshop Crank: The released steam opens the Workshop door to the east. Grab the Crank Handle from the workbench chest, head south into the Wine Cellar, and use it to winch open the heavy dungeon portcullis.
3. The Dungeon Levers: Read the guard’s log on the prison wall, raid the prison cells for weapons and armor, and pull the 3 levers at the Guard Post in the exact documented sequence to open the arena.
4. Boss Battle — The Hollow Knight: Step into the subterranean arena.

• Tactics: This armored giant deflects direct hits. Bait his charge into the stone pillars to daze him, and hold your lantern close to melt his runic shield before unleashing your sword attacks. Defeat him to claim the Crypt Key.

1. The Catacombs Labyrinth: Unlock the eastern crypt door and step into the winding maze. Explore the dead ends to recover the 4 Lost Soul Fragments, then insert each fragment into the Soul Socket by the great sealed gate.
2. The Final Showdown — The Curse Architect: Enter the ritual chamber of the mastermind.

• Tactics: The Architect commands dark void magic and cannot be harmed while his ritual circle is active. Sprint to the four corners and ignite all 4 Memory Candles to shatter his ward, then fight him to the finish!

1. Family Revived: Break the final core, dispel the darkness, and step through the light to reunite with your family and reclaim your home!

💡 Survival Tips for Adventurers

• Watch Your Step: Crouching (Shift) prevents footstep vibrations. Running on wood or stone echoes loudly!
• Use F3 / Guide: If you ever lose your bearings in the catacombs or manor, type /halloween guide to see your target’s direct coordinates and direction.
• Keep Inventory: If you want a story-focused horror experience without the frustration of losing your items on death, you can enable /gamerule keepInventory true.
