Grid Engineering is a power transmission mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge.

This mod goes beyond simply transferring FE through cables and focuses on designing electrical grids that take Voltage, Amperage, and Power Loss into account.

Inspired by GregTech’s power system, Grid Engineering avoids forcing players into complicated machine voltage tiers or punishing them with machine explosions from overvoltage. Instead, players are encouraged to build efficient power infrastructure by considering cable performance, voltage ratings, transmission distance, and amperage limits.

Grid Engineering is currently in an early stage of development.

Features may change, and both systems and balancing will continue to evolve over time.

This is not a finished project, and I will continue improving and refining it to create a better power grid experience.

Note1: This mod was originally created for use in my personal modpack. Because of this, it includes some uncommon materials such as NTT Alloy and NBB Alloy, which are custom alloys from my own projects and modpack progression.

Note 2: This mod does not provide its own progression system.
For the best experience, it is recommended to customize and integrate the recipes into your modpack using Data Packs, KubeJS, or other progression tools.
