Goety Arcane — Wind of the Veil

An addon for Goety – The Dark Arts 2 that adds programmable spell focuses, a configurable wizard servant, and additional boss encounters.

The Custom Wizard Servant & the Soul-Bound Book

Summon a wizard servant and configure its combat behavior via an in-game UI. The interface provides a 7×4 spell matrix, 3 ability slots, per-spell soul quotas, toggles for interruptible and sustained casting, and per-spell staff assignments across 3 staff slots. The servant processes the matrix column by column, consuming souls per cast and pausing to regenerate when resources are depleted.

Books are categorized into Tiers I–VI alongside 6 trial tiers. Sneak-charging a book initiates a duel in the Trial Realm, placing the servant against an Arcane Sorcerer of the corresponding tier on an unbreakable transparent platform. Losing or drawing the duel unlocks the summon; winning allows the sorcerer to keep its drops.

The Custom Focus — Programmable Spell Graph

Right-clicking a Custom Focus opens a node-based graph editor. Features include spell chaining, up to 5 concurrent branches, pauses, parameter modifiers, mid-cast staff switching, conditional routing (own health, target distance, or nearby servants), loops, and nested sub-graphs using other Custom Focuses. Charging the staff runs the entire graph sequentially. Players can also set custom cast origins relative to their model, equip Companionship Rings to reduce charge duration, or place a Custom Focus inside the servant’s matrix to execute full graphs per turn.

The Storm Favored

An Apostle variant themed around storm mechanics. When awakened, its combat set expands with charged arrows, direct health-setting attacks that bypass armor, status marks, damage caps, and adaptive damage resistance. The Suffering Bow can be upgraded to a second awakened stage on the player side, and the Storm Diadem is a headpiece with floating octahedrons that automates standard combat actions.

The Wind Favored & Additional Content

A wind-themed boss entity designed around continuous movement, featuring an enhanced phase triggered below 50% health. Defeating it yields the Wind Cascade, Whisper Ghast, and Bouncy Blaze focuses; the Storm Favored drops the Shock Blast focus. The addon also adds Arcane Sorcerers across Tiers I–VI (including Alpha variants), extra servant types, and a bilingual (English & Chinese) “Arcane Trials” chapter integrated into the Patchouli Goety guide book.

This addon was developed by the author for personal use, with assistance from AI tools.
