Footfalls

Snow holds a footprint. Wet sand holds a footprint. Minecraft, by default, does not.

This fixes that – a little.

Walk across snow, sand, mud, gravel, or soul sand and you’ll leave a few small, fading marks behind each step. That’s the whole mod. No crafting, no config screen, no new item sitting in your hotbar.

What it touches

• Snow, snow blocks, powder snow
• Sand, red sand, suspicious sand
• Mud, muddy mangrove roots
• Gravel
• Soul sand, soul soil (small chance of a soul particle instead of a footprint)
• Dirt paths and farmland

What it doesn’t touch

• Anything on the server – it’s entirely client-side, install it alone and nobody else has to
• Your save file, your other mods, or your framerate in any way you’d notice
