Disclaimer: This mod was created as a stress test of Claude Code (Opus 5.5) to determine its current state in regards to Minecraft modding, its performance, and potential utility. As such 99% of this project is generated code. While extensive testing and iteration has been done, there will undoubtedly be bugs, primarily due to the invasiveness of this project’s features. Please report issues to the issue tracker.

Fluidic is a finite water and water logging simulator for 1.12.2. Includes features such as rain accumulation into puddles and ponds, water flow, water logging, water pressure and physics, etc.

Fluidic bypasses many issues other water mods have had with performance by utilizing multithreading and simulating all of the water physics off the main thread before making any physical block changes to the world. The client is updated with the more detailed simulated water to allow for fancier and smoother rendering.

Fluidic replaces the vanilla water block itself, and as such is likely to have multiple modded incompatibilities. Multiple compats have already been added such as with Optifine/Celeritas/Voxtavium and Fluidlogged API. While this mod does its own simulated water logging, compatibility with Fluidlogged API allows both to be ran at the same time. General testing has been done to test compatibility, but as always there is a good chance for bugs.
