Fireproof Items is a Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that protects dropped item entities from being destroyed by fire and lava.
Once installed in your Fabric profile, it works automatically. No datapack ZIP, per-world setup, or commands are needed.
Install the mod in your Fabric profile and play as usual. Dropped items are protected from fire and lava so you have a better chance to recover your loot after an accident.
