Kaos Hunter puts thirteen named mercenaries in the ruins, and every one has a price on their head. Take the contract, track them down, collect the bounty.

🎯 Thirteen marks, three tiers

Bigger names, bigger pay. Legendary marks wear Netherite, fight dirty and pay the most. Each one has its own weapon and its own tricks.

📋 Pick a name. Take the contract.

• Every board in the world shows the same wanted posters.
• Hunt as a crew: friends can take the same contract, and everyone near the kill gets paid in full.
• Don’t die: go down on the job and the contract goes back on the board for someone else.

📡 They’re out there. Go find them.

Your mark starts far away and keeps moving. Throw a Tracking Beacon to point the way, buy Intel to narrow the search, and close in.

☠️ Back out and they hunt you

Cancel a contract and it isn’t over. Now you’re the prey, and you can’t take new work until one of you is dead. Sneaking won’t shake it. Win and you walk away with your life, and nothing else. Sometimes a mark finds you first, and the better your gear, the deadlier the one that comes.

🧰 Four augments. One slot.

Every kill drops a HunterPack part. Collect all nine and build the ultimate hunter’s rig: a jetpack, terrain assist, a hunter’s eye and a bounty tracker, all in one augment. Legendary marks also drop diamonds and rare gun parts.

🛒 The Underground Market

Bounties pay in Kaos Credits, and the Underground Market is where hunters spend them. Craft one, hang it on your wall, right-click it and shop for everything from saplings and slime to ender pearls and blaze rods. Every job you finish opens up rarer shelves, and the stock refreshes each morning. Playing the Carrion Strain? The board posts Patient Zero bounties too.

Clear a bounty and the poster gets a big BEAT! stamp. Hang it on your wall. Every mark remembers its record against you, too.

Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge. Requires Credits and Augment Protocol. Install on both client and server.

Kaos Hunter is the bounty half of the work loop in the Federation Of Kaos modpack, a post-apocalypse survival shooter. Its contracts are the first thing that pays Kaos Credits, its board hosts Kaos Missions‘ Missions tab, its marks fight with Augment Protocol‘s plasma weapons and drop Kaos Protocol‘s gun parts, and its Broker sells the Pocket Domain cores. It also ships a public API that sibling quest mods use to add board tabs, aim beacons and send marks after players. The board is optional: nothing else in the pack gates on it. You are welcome to include it in your modpack.
