Farbound Core

Farbound Core is the main mod of Farbound, a Brazilian Cobblemon survival server (Fabric 1.21.1 + Cobblemon 1.8.2). The server and the mod’s texts are in Brazilian Portuguese.

It runs on the server and is also required on the client to join the server: it registers its own item (the Shiny Bait) and ships what the client shows, such as the season mark icons and names and the logo font of the side panel.

The mod is made for Farbound and has no use outside it. The easiest way to play is the Farbound modpack, which already includes this mod and everything else: see farbound.com.br.

What it does on the server:

• Seasons and the season mark on Pokémon
• The permanent collection, the profile (/perfil), titles, achievements and favourites
• Battle Points and the points shop
• The player market: listings, auctions, storage and surprise trades
• The server buyer, which pays in CobbleDollars
• Parties, guilds and the request board
• Item and world rules, the exploration world and the way back to a far grave
• The spawn village NPCs, the side panel and the Tab list
• Staff tools (staff mode, containment and tickets)
• The database (SQLite or PostgreSQL) used by the other Farbound mods and the site

Network and data: the client side opens no network connections; it only shows what the server sends. The server side writes to a database and can send alerts to Discord webhooks, both set up by the server owner.

Bundled libraries (jar-in-jar, unmodified, each under its own license): Fantasy 0.6.4 by Nucleoid Contributors (LGPL-3.0), sgui 1.6.1 by Patbox (LGPL-3.0), PostgreSQL JDBC Driver 42.7.13 (BSD-2-Clause) and SQLite JDBC 3.49.1.0 by Xerial (Apache-2.0).

O Farbound Core é o mod principal do Farbound, um servidor survival brasileiro de Cobblemon (Fabric 1.21.1 + Cobblemon 1.8.2).

Ele roda no servidor e também precisa estar no cliente para entrar no servidor: registra um item próprio (a Isca de Shiny) e traz o que o cliente mostra, como os ícones e os nomes da marca da temporada e a fonte do logo do painel lateral.

O mod é feito para o Farbound e não tem uso fora dele. Para jogar, o caminho mais simples é o modpack do Farbound, que já traz este mod e todos os outros: veja em farbound.com.br.

O que ele faz no servidor

• Temporadas e a marca da temporada nos Pokémon
• Coleção permanente, perfil (/perfil), títulos, conquistas e favoritos
• Pontos de Batalha e a loja de pontos
• Mercado entre jogadores: anúncios, leilões, armazém e troca surpresa
• O comprador do servidor, que paga em CobbleDollars
• Grupos, guildas e o quadro de pedidos
• Regras de itens e de mundo, o mundo de exploração e a volta a um túmulo distante
• Os NPCs da vila do spawn, o painel lateral e a lista do Tab
• Ferramentas da equipe do servidor (modo staff, contenção e tickets)
• O banco de dados (SQLite ou PostgreSQL) que os outros mods do Farbound e o site usam

Rede e dados

A parte do cliente não abre nenhuma conexão de rede: só mostra o que o servidor manda. A parte do servidor grava num banco de dados e pode mandar avisos para webhooks do Discord, os dois configurados pelo dono do servidor.
