Epic Fight – Extended

Adds three attacks to Epic Fight, a heavy attack, a charged heavy and a rolling attack, and one weapon built around them: the Holy Moonlight Sword, a longsword that opens into a moonlight greatsword. Requires Epic Fight and GeckoLib. Weapon animations by M3tte.

Heavy attacks

• Shift + left click is a heavy attack. In combat mode Shift is the attack modifier, so you do not crouch mid-fight.
• Keep both held through the wind-up and it becomes a charged heavy.
• Shift + left click again right after a charged heavy adds a follow-up. The window is short and moving cancels it.
• The heavy works with any Epic Fight weapon. The charged heavy and its follow-up are the Holy Moonlight Sword’s longsword form only.

Rolling attack

Left click during a dodge roll throws a rolling attack, no Shift needed. The click can come at any point of the roll, and the attack starts as the roll ends. It works with any Epic Fight weapon.

Holy Moonlight Sword

• Netherite tier, fire resistant, 2500 durability. There is no recipe: take it from the Epic Fight Extended creative tab or with /give.
• Hold left click, or press the Transform key (R by default), to open it into a greatsword and back. Combat mode only.
• The longsword is the lighter, faster form; the greatsword is heavier and slower.

Arcane thrust

• Hold right click while transformed for a lunging thrust. It hits, can be blocked and staggers like any other strike.
• The thrust charges the blade for 60 seconds, counted down on its skill icon. Thrust again to refresh it.
• While the blade is charged, every swing throws a moonlight wave.

Requirements

Minecraft 1.21.1, Java 21, NeoForge 21.1, on the server and every client. Requires Epic Fight and GeckoLib (4.7 or newer), neither bundled. Everything works only in Epic Fight’s combat mode. The mod id is still moonknight from the project’s earlier name, so existing saves keep their items.
