Elder Dragon

The last fight of your world.

Something older than the Ender Dragon sleeps on the other side of the End. Win an eye from each of the great bosses, find the one Elder Stronghold, open its Elder Portal and cross the Far End to face the Elder Dragon. Slay it and the credits roll: your world is conquered.

👁️ The road

• 👁️ Elder eyes: each one is held by a great boss. Forge the part a boss leaves with an Eye of Ender into its Elder eye. The portal wants one eye for every boss your pack has, up to twelve: the Ender Dragon, the Warden, the Eyeless and the bosses of The Aether, The Twilight Forest, Incendium, Aquamirae, Archaion, Deeper and Darker, Elder Arts and Create: Far Skies.
• 🏯 The Elder Stronghold: one per world, far from spawn. A maze, cells, a molten chasm, three seals and the Eyeless, a jailer that steals eyes.
• 🌀 The Elder Portal: set every eye into the ring in the portal hall and the way opens.
• 🌑 The Far End: hazy islands over the void. No elytra, void storms, wild wyrmlings and the broken bridges and camps of those who came before.
• 🏚️ Hanging Reliquaries: towers that hang beneath the islands, held by Void Shulkers that swallow what you carry. Their shells make the Void Shulker Box, which holds twice as much as a shulker box.
• ⚔️ Challengers’ Barrows: sunken tombs where the Fallen Champion wakes. It wields Wyrmsbane, a sword that strikes dragons twice as hard.
• 🐉 The Elder Dragon: far stronger than the Ender Dragon. It draws powers from the eyes, grows with every player and comes back stronger after each kill.
• 💎 Treasures like the Wyrm Anchor and the Lullaby Horn, and Elder Scale gear, the last upgrade after Netherite.
• 🔒 Relics: eyes, souls and the dragon egg cannot be hidden in an ender chest and always drop when you die.

🚀 Getting started

1. Defeat the great bosses one by one and keep what they leave.
2. Craft each part with an Eye of Ender into its Elder eye. Any crafting grid works.
3. Throw an eye in the Overworld. It flies toward the Elder Stronghold and never breaks.
4. In the stronghold, break the three Elder Seals and slay the Eyeless. It drops the last eye.
5. Set every eye into the portal ring, cross the Far End, find the dragon’s den and slay the Elder Dragon.

• GeckoLib
• Recommended: AttributeFix, so the dragon’s health can go past Minecraft’s limit of 1024.
• The boss mods are optional: each one adds its eye.

⚙️ Good to know

• Server config elderdragon-server.toml: the dragon’s health (1500) and how much it grows per player, its damage, elytras in the Far End, void storms and the weight of carried eyes.
• Operator commands: /elderdragon foes lists every eye boss and who beat it first, /elderdragon locate finds the stronghold and the den.
• 🌍 In English and German.
