EBM’s Werewolves – (Loups Garous)

EMB’s Werewolves is a Minecraft mod that lets you play the famous French social deduction game _“Loups Garous de Thiercelieux” (Werewolves of Thiercelieux)_ directly in Minecraft!

ORIGINAL GAME RULES

The concept is simple: every night, the werewolves secretly kill villagers, and every day, the villagers try to identify and vote out the werewolves.

**The Werewolves win by eliminating all villagers.
The Villagers win by eliminating all werewolves.**

At the beginning of the game, players receive secret role cards that remain anonymous throughout the match.

The Seer

The Seer wakes up every night before the werewolves and can discover the role of one player of their choice.

The Witch

The Witch wakes up after the werewolves and has access to two unique potions:

A Life Potion, which can save the werewolves’ victim.
A Death Potion, which can kill another player.

Each potion can only be used once per game, and the Witch may also choose to do nothing.

The Werewolves

The Werewolves wake up every night and choose a player to eliminate.

The Hunter

When the Hunter dies, he may immediately eliminate one player of his choice.

Cupid

Cupid wakes up only on the first night and chooses two players to become lovers. If one of them dies, the other dies as well.

The Thief

The Thief wakes up only on the first night and steals the role of a player of their choice. The targeted player then becomes a Villager.

Villagers

Villagers have no special abilities.

IN MINECRAFT

For now, only 4 playable roles are available:

**Werewolves
Seer
Witch
Villagers**

To start a game, one player must use the “Game Starter” item. A menu will open, allowing them to select the total number of players participating in the match.

All players are placed in small houses surrounding a campfire. Inside each house, there must be an essential block called the Sleeper.

Once the game begins and players receive their role cards (you must eat the card to obtain your role), everyone must interact with the Sleeper. The game waits until all players are asleep before starting the night phase.

During the night, roles automatically wake up in the correct order:

The Seer is called first. She wake up and receive an Eye item in her inventory, allowing her to reveal the role of a player by hitting him with it.

Once finished, she return to sleep using her Sleeper, and the next role is called.

Each role follows a similar system, with its own unique mechanics and gameplay.

(While asleep, players cannot see or move.)

The daytime voting system and the victory/defeat system are not implemented yet, but they are coming soon! More roles are coming soon too !

Currently, to end/reset the game, you have to click on “reset” in the Game Starter, or type the commande /lgreset. Soon, you won’t need this anymore, since the game will end automatically once one team wins (werewolves or villagers). Moreover the mod is in french only, but an English translation is planned !
