Dust

Welcome to Dust!
Dust is a mod all about learning and experiencing the world around you.

Its still very much in the beginning of development, but each release aims to bring additional content, building on top of what the player has already done ahead of time.
Current Plans:

– A Research System based on Player Experiences and Observations, through many stages in the game. You might find yourself spying on a golem from a distance, but what behaviors you observe, could open new avenues of research to creating your own, or creating ways to combat it.

– Tiered Machines and Levels of Research.

– Repeatable Dungeons, Respawning Dungeon loot, Bosses that behaviors change based on your skills and amount of players nearby, Dungeons that open new areas as you beat them over and over, and loot drops that change as you progress so they never become irrelevant to keep doing with friends.
– World Generation and Structures that come from an ‘Ancient’ Civilization, these may contain secretes into new magics, or lead you to new area and worlds.

– Positive and Negative changes to the ‘World of Magic’ based on your actions, and the action of others.

– New ways to automate farming of crops, to animals, to resource gathering/processing.
– A new way to store your loot, and even some ways to keep your items safe when you do happen to ‘Learn too Much’

– Custom Spells, Effects, Enchants, Armor.

Anyone can download and put in their personal pack, no permission needed.
Error reporting should be done on github if possible.

Please let me know if you plan to use this in a pack, this isn’t required but I might be able to better assist you with issues if I have access to an instance of the pack up front. Best way to get a hold of me is in my discord via a ping.
For error reporting I would prefer the mod pack makers post issues so I know who to contact for more information on the issue.
