# Double Jump

Jump, let go, then press **jump again in mid-air** to launch yourself **2 more blocks** into the air.

No potions, no effect icons, no items — just a clean, smooth second jump with a little cloud puff under your feet.

## Features
– **Double jump** — one extra jump every time you leave the ground, refreshed when you land
– **Consistent height** — always 2 blocks above where you pressed jump
– **Built-in fall protection** — 3 extra blocks of safe falling after a double jump, so a normal double jump never hurts
– **Client-side only** — just drop it in your mods folder; the server doesn’t need it
– **Works with your controls** — uses your normal jump key

## When it doesn’t trigger
To keep things feeling vanilla, double jump is turned off while:
– Flying (creative) or in spectator
– Gliding with an elytra
– Riding a horse, boat or minecart
– Swimming, in lava, or climbing ladders and vines
– A menu is open

## FAQ
**Does the server need it?**
No. It’s client-side, so it works in singleplayer and on servers without it installed.

**Can I use it on public servers?**
Only where the server allows it. Servers with anticheat may see the double jump and fall protection as a movement cheat and flag or ban you. It’s best for singleplayer, your own servers, and servers that allow it.

**Will there be a Forge / Fabric version?**
Forge is planned. Let me know in the comments if you want Fabric.
