Doors & Beyond

The station lost power at 12:07 a.m. When it came back, an elevator stood where the ticket booth had been.

Its doors opened onto a Hotel that wasn’t on any map: a hundred rooms, no windows, and corridors that seem to remember their guests. N. Vale, the Hotel’s night porter, left behind a journal. Find the Field Notes, explore the floors, and discover what the Hotel is keeping beneath Room 100.

Doors & Beyond is a liminal horror exploration mod for Minecraft. Explore the Hotel, descend into the Archives and Rooms, get lost in the endless Backrooms, or use a Void block to travel to strange, endlessly generated worlds.

Explore

• A 100-room Hotel with branching rooms, loot, elevators, and a way back to the Overworld
• The Archives and Rooms subfloors
• An endless Backrooms maze with varied rooms, lights, and searchable containers
• Thirteen Void worlds: forest, caves, maze, meadow, ocean, sky islands, frozen plain, library, twilight grove, clockwork halls, desert, mushroom forest, and ruined city
• Aspen Grove, an orange-leaved Overworld biome where some trees are not what they seem

Survive

• Search dressers, nightstands, and suitcases for coins, keys, batteries, healing items, and other supplies
• Use flashlights, lighter, vitamins, glowsticks, and crucifixes to help survive
• Hide from Rush in wardrobes and keep an eye out for Screech, Eyes, the Forest Mimic, the Hollow, and other entities
• Mine custom building blocks and Aspen wood for building
• Craft and read N. Vale’s Field Notes to uncover the story

The Backrooms have no known exit. Rare white Void blocks can return you to your Overworld spawn point. The purple Void block can be crafted from crying obsidian, amethyst shards, and an Ender Eye.
