DOCTOR M

Introduction

This mod’s code uses artificial intelligence (AI). If you encounter a crash, please report it on GitHub. If you don’t like AI, you can avoid this mod.

What is DOCTOR M? You’d better not ask—I can’t really explain it either.
It could be DOCTOR MC, DOCTOR MOD, DOCTOR MOSS, or even DOCTOR MARY—but none of that really matters.

DOCTOR M is an add‑on for AIT that adds multiple TARDIS interiors with unique stylistic designs, brand‑new dimensions, new adventure content, and more – including items that never fully showcased their lore potential in Doctor Who, as well as original creations from us (Celestial Intervention Agency)!

It adds the Key to Time, the De‑Mat Gun, the Key of Rassilon, and the Vortex Manipulator into Minecraft. On the creature side, we’ve introduced the Type 103 TARDIS (a humanoid TARDIS!) and the Marian – both of which have a chance to spawn naturally in your world. The Type 103 TARDIS even comes with 5 different personality variants! Dimension‑wise, we’ve added Trenzalore – the planet where the Eleventh Doctor regenerated – and Titan (Saturn’s moon). In our own vision, DOCTOR M also includes some interesting accessories and weapons: a shield generator that consumes energy to block damage, a force‑field shield that pushes monsters away, the Toymaker’s Hammer that can duplicate TARDISes, and a large collection of new interiors. More will come in the future!

But it’s not just new items – DOCTOR M also modifies vanilla AIT! For example, it overhauls space content by adding oxygen refill stations, oxygen tanks, etc. It also expands the sonic screwdriver’s functionality, implementing features originally planned for AIT2 – like the sonic’s crystal system. It strengthens the four existing sonic modes: Interactive Mode can now repair TARDIS subsystems; Overload Mode deals damage to the Warden; Scan Mode detects more things; and TARDIS Mode gives extra hints when you can’t summon your TARDIS.

In short, DOCTOR M is an expansion mod built for AIT. What will be added in the future? I have no idea either 😀

Some content in DOCTOR M is ported from AIT branches. Currently, this includes:

• feat/spinny-thing (ported)

• DrTheodor/seamless-teleport (reimplemented after reverse-engineering its mechanics)

• feat/dalek (ported; not merged into the main branch)

Compatibility

DOCTOR M supports some additional mods. At the same time, DOCTOR M’s custom interiors use blocks from the following mods, so besides AIT, it is recommended to install them as well:

• AIT Extras – Some interiors require blocks from this mod.(Only for versions before 1.1.0)

• Create – Some interiors require blocks from this mod.

• Tough as Nails – AIT dimensions (Moon, Mars, Space) are registered as icy biomes. The spacesuit provides warmth, making these dimensions survivable.
