# Dispense Gateways To Eternity

A tiny Forge 1.16.5 compatibility addon for Gateways to Eternity.

This mod lets dispensers activate Gate Pearls. When a dispenser containing a Gate Pearl fires, the pearl is used on the dispenser’s output face as if the nearest living player in that dimension used it. Gateways to Eternity then handles the normal gateway spawning, collision checks, waves, and rewards.

## Features

– Dispensers can activate Gate Pearls from Gateways to Eternity.
– The nearest living player in the dimension becomes the gateway summoner.
– Works with upward-facing dispenser setups.
– If no living player is present, the pearl stays in the dispenser and connected players receive a red failure message.
– Adds `/gateways close_nearest_gateway` for operators.

## Command

`/gateways close_nearest_gateway`

Requires permission level 2. It closes the nearest loaded gateway in the command source’s current dimension, removes tracked gateway wave mobs without drops, and discards queued rewards.

## Notes

This addon adds no new blocks, items, textures, recipes, or client-only content. It is intended for automation, redstone setups, servers, and modpacks using Gateways to Eternity on Minecraft 1.16.5. It is fully server side.
