# Diamond Furnaces

Spend less time waiting at the furnace. **Diamond Furnaces** adds Iron, Gold, Diamond and Netherite furnaces, plus compact factories that smelt several different items at the same time.

Stone casings, subtle material bands, familiar fireboxes and vanilla-style menus help every tier fit into your Minecraft builds.

Regular furnaces have one smelting input and one output. Factories have **two to five independent input/output pairs in a single block**. Each pair runs at its tier’s speed, so you can process ores, food, glass and other smelting recipes together. A full output pauses that slot while the others keep working.

## Bigger fuel buffers, familiar fuel efficiency

Diamond and Netherite furnaces and factories hold **up to 256 of one stackable fuel in their fuel slot**. Fill them with ordinary stacks by clicking, shift-clicking, using hoppers or connecting Fabric item-transfer pipes.

Higher speed preserves fuel efficiency: **one coal still smelts eight standard items per smelting slot**. Factories share a fuel inventory, and each active slot draws its own fuel. Stored heat and partial progress pause when a slot is idle or its output is blocked.

Inputs and outputs keep their normal stack sizes. Lava buckets and empty buckets remain limited to one.

## Simple crafting progression

– **Iron Furnace:** eight iron ingots around a vanilla furnace.

– **Gold Furnace:** eight gold ingots around an Iron Furnace.

– **Diamond Furnace:** eight diamonds around a Gold Furnace.

– **Netherite Furnace:** upgrade a Diamond Furnace at a smithing table with a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template and one Netherite Ingot. The template is consumed.

– **Furnace Factory:** eight matching material **blocks** around the matching regular furnace. For example, an Iron Furnace Factory uses eight iron blocks and an Iron Furnace.

Recipes unlock in the recipe book as you collect their materials. Item tooltips show each furnace’s speed, smelting slot count and fuel capacity.

## Built for everyday survival and automation

– Insert ingredients from **above** and fuel from the **sides**; extract results and fuel buckets from **below**.

– Supports vanilla hoppers, Diamond Hoppers and Fabric item-transfer pipes.

– Comparator output reflects the actual inventory capacity.

– Inventory contents, custom names, progress, stored heat and unclaimed smelting XP survive world saves.

– Breaking a furnace drops its contents and releases stored smelting XP.

– Mine these blocks with a stone pickaxe or better.

## Installation

**Minecraft Java Edition • Fabric • 26.2 and 26.3**

1. Install Fabric Loader and Fabric API for your Minecraft version.

2. Download the matching Diamond Furnaces JAR and place it in your `mods` folder.

3. Install the mod and Fabric API on both client and server for multiplayer.

Use Fabric Loader **0.19.3+** for 26.2 or **0.19.5+** for 26.3. Requires **Java 25**. Each Minecraft version has its own download.
