Desert’s Bounty

A mod that brings the Desert biome to life! With all new mobs such as jerboas, wasps, and lizards, you won’t want to leave. This mod introduces new food, crops, items, armor, structures, and so much more!

BLOCKS

Cactus Wood-
Made from a cactus. Planks, door, slab, boat, stairs, sign, etc.

Pinyon Wood-
Wood made from the new Pinyon tree. Planks, doors, slabs, boats, signs, hanging signs, etc.

Wasp Nest-
A block that can hold up to one Wasp at a time. Careful if you find one, there’s likely wasps wandering around.

Black Sand-
A darker variant of sand. Has sandstone, slabs, stairs, smooth, cut, etc. versions.

Adobe-
Made with clay, similar to terracotta but much quicker to mine. Can be dyed. Has slabs and stairs.

Adobe Bricks-
A very decorative block, can be dyed.

Sanded Dirt-
Dust can be brushed off, revealing dirt.

Quicksand-
Similar to powder snow, but doesn’t harm you. (in the future will turn undead mobs into their desert variants)

Cobbled Sandstone-
A new sandstone block.

ITEMS

Tumbleweed Music Disc-
A brand new Western-style track that can be found in the desert.

Agave-
A new crop that can be eaten, or turned into a potion.

Durability Potion-
A new potion that makes you or a mob MUCH more durable. Need to get down from a high place? Drink a potion.

Wild Beans-
A new crop that can be put in a bowl and baked.

Dust-
Crafted from sand blocks, or brushed off Sanded Dirt. Can be made into Dust Bombs

Dust Bomb-
A new projectile that blinds entities

Dust Banner Pattern-
A new dust-shaped banner pattern.

Chitin-
A new drop from Wasps. Can be crafted into armor.

Scales-
Currently useless

Raw Lizard-
A new food source from Lizards

Nopales-
A quick food source made out of cactus.

MOBS
Jerboa-
Jerboas are passive creatures that hop around the desert, you can find them in Jerboa dens, and breed them with seeds or agave.

Lizard-
Another passive creature THAT WON’T SHUT UP!!!
But drops Scales if you slay it. They don’t do anything

Wasp-
A hostile creature similar to the bee, but they are much more powerful and scary. You can slay them for chitin.

Chever-
A strange, but cute and neutral mob. You can tame it, but be careful because if you hit one, you make all of them angry. (In the future will blind the player by flicking sand and running away)

BIOMES

Black Sand Dunes-
A darker biome like the Desert. Instead of regular sand, there’s black sand. You can find a black sand well, as well as camels in the biome.

PLANTS

Ocotillo-
A two block tall plant that can be turned into pink dye.

Desert Lily-
A brand new flower that can be crafted into white dye.

Pinyon Tree-
A new tree in the desert and Black Sand Dunes, can hold a Wasp Nest sometimes.

STRUCTURES

Sphinx-
A big statue that may, or may not, or may hold some valuable loot. Can be found in the desert.

Black Sand Well-
A well you can find in the Black Sand Dunes, made of Black Sandstone.

Desert Ruins-
Collapsed Pillars that can be found in the Desert. Contains suspicious sand and loot

Jerboa Den-
A small home for the cute little jerboas, can be found in the desert.
