The solution to early-game storage!

What does it add?

Depot, like the name implies, intends to solve early game storage issues (especially when using mods) whilst maintaining fairness.

The newly added “Depots” are available in 16 different colors, and serve as early game Shulker Boxes which can store up to 9 stacks of items at a time.

How are they balanced?

Although not too expensive to craft, they also come with a downside: You can (by default) only hold 4 of them at a time. Any additional depots held in your inventory will add a stack of the “Encumbered” effect, effectively slowing you down by 10% per excess depot.

This encourages the use of only a couple depots at a time, whilst maintaining their availability for transporting many items at once :>

Additionally, depots cannot be put into shulkers, and shulkers cannot be put into depots to avoid infinite storage.

The amount of depots needed to begin stacking the Encumbered effect can be changed via the _”depotEncumberThreshold”_ gamerule.
