HARDcore

A mod for those who are tired of ordinary hardcore.

Vanilla hardcore feels too easy? HARDcore turns survival into a real challenge: you are fragile, the night is long, and enemies come in crowds.

You

• Only 5 health (2.5 hearts) and reduced movement speed
• Totems of Undying are removed: they vanish from your inventory and no longer drop from evokers
• Hunger drains 20% faster
• All items have half the durability
• Golden apples give no absorption, and enchanted golden apples give only 2 hearts
• Your damage to mobs is slightly reduced
• Creative and Adventure modes are forbidden, and commands are blocked (only /msg, /tell, /w and /me are available)

Enemies

• Hostile mobs are 5% faster
• Zombies spawn in groups of 5, 7, 10 and even 15, and more often carry weapons and armor
• Creepers explode in 0.5 seconds
• Spiders poison you, and cave spiders inflict weakness and slowness
• Blazes shoot five fireballs per volley
• Spawners produce 3-5 mobs at a time
• Soul sand no longer slows down mobs

World

• Night is longer than day: the day passes twice as fast
• Lava flows as fast as in the Nether
• Loot from mobs, blocks and chests is reduced by 50%, and kill XP by 80%
• Crops and trees grow slower, and bone meal does not work on saplings
• Peaceful animals spawn 50% less often

World creation

Worlds can only be created in Hardcore mode. The game mode and cheats buttons are locked.

Installation

1. Requires Minecraft 1.20.1 and Forge.
2. Put the file into your mods folder.
3. For the best experience, start a new world.

The mod must be installed on both the client and the server.
