Cursed Fate: Blood Bags

Prepare your blood before battle. Blood Bags adds reusable blood storage for Cursed Fate’s existing Blood Manipulation technique, letting human blood manipulators spend stored blood instead of their own health when using abilities.

Craft, fill, fight

Craft an Empty Blood Bag with 8 leather surrounding 1 glass pane. Hold right-click to fill it with your own blood. Filling an empty bag costs 3 hearts by default, topping up a partially filled bag costs proportionally less. Filling is refused if it would leave you below half a heart.

Keep your bags in your hotbar, main inventory or offhand. Your Blood Manipulation abilities automatically draw from them when enough of your own blood is available. You do not need to hold the bag.

Blood costs

A full bag holds four measures of blood.

Ordinary Flow and Chant do not increase these costs on their own. Convergence and a follow-up attack are separate blood payments. If you do not have enough of your own stored blood for a payment, no bag is consumed and Cursed Fate applies its normal health cost.

Reusable and personal

Bags stack up to 16, with separate textures for each fill level.
Drained bags become empty containers and can be filled again.
Only Blood Manipulation users can fill bags.
Blood belongs to its donor, other players cannot spend, top up or throw your blood.
Tooltips show stored blood and, for nonempty bags, the donor.
Put one filled or partially filled bag alone in a crafting grid to discard its blood and recover the empty container.

Throw your blood

Sneak + right-click/use with a full bag of your own blood to throw it like a snowball. On contact with a block or entity, it explodes, damaging nearby entities and breaking blocks. It can also damage the thrower and other players, so be careful.

Throwing spends one full bag. Only Blood Manipulation users can throw bags, and only their own blood is valid ammunition.

This addon uses the existing Blood Manipulation CT, it does not grant the technique. CE costs, cooldowns, mastery requirements and enemy damage remain controlled by Cursed Fate. Death Painting users whose native blood costs are already free do not spend bags.

Default filling and ability blood costs can be adjusted in your world’s serverconfig/bloodbags-server.toml.
