Create tells you that something failed. This tells you where and why.

The Engineer’s Goggles read one component at a time. So when your factory goes red and everything grinds to a halt, “what is actually eating all my stress?” means walking your build and staring at parts one by one.

Create: Stethoscope answers it in one right-click.

The Engineer’s Stethoscope

Right-click any kinetic component — a shaft, a cogwheel, a press, anything on the network — and get the whole network at once:

  Detaching Crushing Wheel x4 (256 su) would resolve this.

What you get

• The whole network in one read — supply, demand, and exactly how short you are.
• Grouped by block type — not “this one press uses 8 su”, but “your six presses are eating 128 su between them”.
• Clickable coordinates — click any coordinate and a /tp is typed into your chat box, ready to send. It suggests the command rather than running it, so it works no matter what permissions you have.
• A concrete fix — it tells you how much capacity you are missing, and whether detaching the worst offender alone would clear it.
• Works on servers — everything is calculated server-side, so the numbers are the real ones, not a client guess.
• Fully localized in English and Korean.

The numbers are read straight from Create’s own kinetic network, so they match your Engineer’s Goggles and Stressometer exactly.

It complements the Goggles, it does not replace them

Keep wearing the goggles. Keep the stethoscope in your hotbar for when things go wrong.

Crafting

The same tier as the Engineer’s Goggles — you get it when you need it, not twenty hours later.

Any forge:plates/copper works, so other mods’ copper plates are fine too.

Installation

Requires Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.0+, and Create 6.0.8+.

Install on both server and client. No config file.

Performance

The network is walked once, only when you right-click — never on a tick. Large networks are capped so a right-click can never stall the server.

Roadmap

• Assembly diagnostics — when a contraption refuses to assemble, list every offending block instead of just the first one, and break down what is eating your block limit.
• World highlight — outline the culprits in the world so you do not have to read coordinates at all.
