Create Fly: Unofficial port

Unofficial port of Create Fly to Minecraft 26.3.

Create Fly is ZurrTum’s Fabric port of Create. This project only updates it from Minecraft 26.2 to 26.3 and fixes some bugs. It is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with ZurrTum or the Create team. Please report problems with this version here, not to them. When an official 26.3 release of Create Fly appears, use that one.

What changed compared to Create Fly 26.2

• Updated to Minecraft 26.3 (rendering, data and API changes).
• Network messages (trains, schedules, track sync, contraptions, filters, schematicannon and more) are now handled on the game thread. This fixes rare random crashes and out-of-sync trains and contraptions.
• A plough on a moving contraption no longer crashes the server when it reaches dirt (26.3 change).
• The cardboard disguise works again: mobs ignore a sneaking player wearing the full set.
• Outliner boxes are no longer drawn into the glowing-outline layer.
• Schematics made with Create on NeoForge load without losing items.

Requirements

Minecraft 26.3, Fabric Loader, Java 25. Fabric API is optional; if installed it must be 0.152.0 or newer. Install on both the client and the server.

Testing

Checked with automated in-game tests on a client and on a dedicated server: every Create block and machine, recipes and drops in survival, trains (junctions, signals, schedules, through unloaded land and Nether portals), contraptions, logistics (packagers, frogports, stock keeper, factory gauges), schematics (quill, table, schematicannon), multiplayer, server restarts and crashes, 45-minute server sessions, and together with Sodium, Lithium, JEI, Carry On, Litematica and others.

How it was made

The 26.3 port changes and the fixes above were written with an AI coding assistant (Claude) and checked with the tests described above. The mod itself is ZurrTum’s and the Create team’s work.
