Dangerous Shafts is a small addon for the popular Create mod that adds a touch of realism to rotating shafts and cogwheels.
Features
- Exposed shafts and cogwheels deal damage while rotating.
- Damage scales with rotational speed.
- Andesite Casing reduces shaft damage by 50%.
- Brass Casing completely blocks shaft damage.
- Encased cogwheels deal 90% less damage.
- The mod also adds its own advancement tree.
Pain Shock Mechanic
Dangerous Shafts introduces a simple pain shock mechanic.
When a player is injured by a rotating shaft or cogwheel, they will suffer from:
- Blindness
- Weakness
- Slowness
The player is also knocked away from the source of the impact, simulating a natural reflexive reaction to sudden danger.
