Create: Arcane Engineering is an addon for Create that fuses mechanical engineering with arcane magic. Mana is a real fluid: you brew it in basins, pump it through pipes, store it in tanks and feed it to your machines. You can see everything working, from turning gears and glass filling with mana to lightning crackling across a charging structure.

Runic machines
Mana-powered presses, cutters, mixers, drills and fans, plus an enchanting mechanism, a transmutation altar and a manipulator arm that carries items between containers. They also handle Create’s own recipes and need no rotation.

Elemental staffs
Fourteen staffs cast spells through glowing rune circles: pillars of fire, frost fields, lightning storms, short-range teleport gates, stasis domes and real barriers that stop arrows. The chargeable Staff of Ruin splits the ground or sinks it into a funnel up to 100 blocks across.

Movement and defence
Magic lifts, projected bridges, repulsors, wireless item and fluid transport, portals and railway rifts. Defend your base with barrier fields, snares, time traps, radars and chain lightning towers.

Megaprojects

• World Shift moves whole regions of the world.
• Terrain Restoration opens a black hole under a giant rewinding rune clock and rebuilds the landscape as it rains down.
• Nether and End Rifts open walkable portals.
• The Singularity turns everything it devours into mana, but it is dangerous to control.

The Inversion
Fall into the singularity to reach a mirrored world where water burns, lava is safe and monsters flee. The only way home is a drifting white hole.
