CraftProxy – Global LAN Multiplayer

CraftProxy is a Fabric mod that lets you share your singleplayer world with friends over the internet. No port forwarding, no VPN, and your home IP address is never exposed.

CraftProxy will always be a host-only requirement. Your friends can join your world with a normal, vanilla Minecraft client without downloading anything.

Core Features

• Host-Only to Play: Guests join through the vanilla multiplayer menu. They don’t need a mod, VPN or extra software.
• No Port Forwarding: A secure tunnel works around router settings, strict firewalls and CGNAT.
• Privacy and DDoS Protection: Your real IP address is never shown. All traffic goes through the CraftProxy network.
• Automatic Reconnect: If your connection drops, the tunnel reconnects by itself.
• Lightweight and Open Source: Built just for Minecraft, as a simple alternative to heavy tunneling tools.

Optional Extras (when your friends have the mod too)

Joining never requires the mod. Players who install it get a few extras:

• Friends and Social Menu (I): Add friends, see who is online, and accept or decline friend requests.
• One-Click World Invites: Invite a friend straight from the Social menu. Your world opens to LAN and the tunnel starts automatically. Your friend gets a notification and joins with one click, so nobody has to copy an IP.
• Direct Messages: Chat with friends in-game, including image attachments (paste with Ctrl+V).
• Wardrobe and Cosmetics (H): Equip capes and other cosmetics and preview them on your own skin.
• Discord Rich Presence: Your Discord status shows what you’re playing.

Supported Versions

Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.11, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3 (Fabric). Requires Fabric API.

How to Use

1. Put the mod and Fabric API into your mods folder.
2. Load into your singleplayer world.
3. Type /host in chat, or invite a friend from the Social menu.
4. Click the generated address (e.g. abc123.craftproxy.net) to copy it and send it to your friends.

Roadmap

• Static Subdomains: Claim a permanent address like yourname.craftproxy.net instead of a random one. That makes it easy to share your world on Discord or on server lists.
