Craftable Elytra + Slot

Ever wish you could wear a chestplate and an elytra at the same time? This mod adds a shaped recipe for the vanilla elytra, and gives it its own dedicated equipment slot, separate from your chestplate, via Trinkets.

Crafting: the pattern is M S M on top, T (empty) T in the middle, M S M on the bottom. M = Phantom Membrane, S = Stick, T = String.

Equipping: right-click with the elytra in hand to equip it straight into the special slot (the chestplate slot stays free). Or drag it onto the wing-icon slot next to your armor slots in the inventory screen. Only one elytra can be equipped at a time – equipping a second one (in either slot) automatically moves the first back to your inventory.

Flying: works exactly like vanilla – jump while falling to start gliding, same 432-use durability, same fall-damage immunity while airborne. The only difference is where it’s worn. Requires Trinkets.
