Cozy Pet Beds & Bowls

Give your pets a real home.

Cozy Pet Beds & Bowls adds two blocks for your tamed dogs and cats, and the pets know how to use them on their own.

🛏️ Pet Bed

• A soft, cushioned bed in all 16 colours.
• Right-click a placed bed with any dye to recolour it.
• At night, pets that you told to sit walk to the nearest free bed (within 12 blocks) and settle in.
• One pet per bed. Make enough beds for everyone!
• A pet resting in its bed slowly heals (half a heart every 5 seconds).
• A broken bed keeps its colour.

🥣 Pet Bowl

• Fill it with meat (beef, pork, chicken, mutton, rabbit) for dogs, or with fish (cod, salmon, tropical fish) for cats and dogs.
• Holds up to 8 portions, and you can see the food level in the bowl.
• Right-click it empty-handed to check how full it is.
• Hurt pets within 10 blocks walk to the bowl and eat one portion (heals 3 hearts). This works even when they’re told to sit, so a waiting pet won’t starve at home.
• Cats only eat fish. Dogs eat meat and fish.

Crafting

• Pet Bed: 2 wool on top (left and right) + 3 planks on the bottom. The bed takes the colour of the wool.
• Pet Bowl: 3 bricks in a V shape (left, right and bottom middle).

Compatibility

• Minecraft 26.3: Fabric (with Fabric API), NeoForge and Forge
• Works with the vanilla dogs and cats you already have.
• Install it on the client and the server.
• Feel free to use it in modpacks!
