Compass Waypoints turns standard Lodestone Compasses into instant navigation markers for JourneyMap. Simply right-click a linked compass, and a waypoint is automatically created precisely 3 blocks above the targeted Lodestone.

Whether you’re organizing a survival server or managing vast exploration paths, this light utility streamlines coordinate tracking without manual entry.

Requirements

This mod requires JourneyMap to function, as it uses JourneyMap’s command system to generate waypoints in real-time.

Features

Instant Waypoint Creation: Right-click any Lodestone-bound compass to auto-generate a waypoint at its target location.

Smart Naming: Waypoints automatically inherit custom names assigned to the compass at an anvil (e.g., “Cool Base”).

Action Bar Notifications: Clean, non-intrusive feedback displayed right above your hotbar confirming waypoint creation or alerting you if a compass isn’t linked.

Custom GameRule Support: Integrated server management via a dedicated gamerule /gamerule consumeCompass <true|false>. Control whether compasses are consumed upon use in survival.
