Combat log and ender pearl cooldown

Combat Log + Pearl Cooldown is the ultimate PvP enhancement mod designed to bring fairness, balance, and consequence back to multiplayer combat. In vanilla Minecraft, players often abuse game mechanics to escape losing battles—either by abruptly disconnecting from the server (combat logging) or by endlessly spamming Ender Pearls to run away. This mod puts an end to both exploits.

First, it introduces a strict anti-combat log system. Whenever a player is engaged in PvP, a configurable combat timer starts. If a player attempts to disconnect while the timer is active, the server will instantly punish them by dropping their items and killing their character, declaring them dead by cowardice. At the same time, the combat state is immediately cleared for the victorious attacker, allowing them to safely collect their loot without waiting for a timer to run out.

Second, the mod introduces a dynamic Ender Pearl cooldown mechanism. While players are in an active combat state, a custom cooldown is applied to Ender Pearls, preventing players from easily teleporting away to save their gear. This cooldown is fully configurable via an in-game command, overriding vanilla Minecraft defaults to perfectly suit your server’s pace.
