🏅 CobbleCreate: Badges

⚠️ Important: this mod does not add any trainer mechanics, and it does not automatically grant badges to trainers from datapacks or mods like Radical Cobblemon Trainers. It’s a display and item system only, you decide how badges are earned (quests, datapacks, custom commands, whatever fits your server or modpack), and this mod gives you a beautiful, functional way to display them.

✨ What This Mod Does

• 🖼️ A dedicated Badge Case for each of the 9 generations, styled after each region
• 🎖️ Every gym leader gets their own themed banner with their matching badge
• 🌑 Banners start dimmed/unlit and gradually light up as you actually earn each badge, no more flat item-grid badge boxes
• 🏆 A Champion Trophy for every generation, awarded for becoming that region’s Champion
• 🌺 A dedicated Alola case, including the trophy for becoming Alola’s first Champion plus all 4 trial stamps for completing the island trials
• 💠 A Galar case built around the 10-piece Medallion, matching the actual in-game Champion Cup structure

🎨 Design Philosophy

Most badge mods on the market are either purely functional item boxes or bundle in gameplay effects and boosts. This mod takes the opposite approach: visual identity first.

The badge case is directly inspired by the Unova Badge Case from Pokémon Black & White 2. Every badge you haven’t earned yet is visible but dim, so players always know exactly what’s left to chase, and every badge you do earn visibly lights up its banner. It’s designed to reward progression the same way the games themselves do.

🧩 Built For Any Server or Modpack

While this mod is developed as part of Cobblemon + Create – Pokémon Meets Industrial Revolution!, it has zero hard dependency on that pack. Drop it into any Cobblemon server or modpack and pair it with your own quest system, datapack, or trainer mod to build a badge progression that fits your world.

This makes it a natural fit for:

• 📜 FTB Quests / Better Questing progression lines
• 🗂️ Custom datapacks rewarding badges on gym completion
• 🤖 KubeJS-driven custom trainer or gym systems
• 🖥️ Any Cobblemon server, public or private, that wants a proper badge progression without building the visuals from scratch
