Tobacco crops spawn uncommonly on the outskirts of Lush Caves. You can also find tobacco seeds from mineshaft chests. When grown, these crops drop tobacco leaves which need to be placed underneath blocks to dry. Leaves dry faster in drier climates, and when more adjacent sides have access to sky light.

When fully dried, the leaves drop raw tobacco. Craft with paper to make cigarettes. You can light cigarettes with Flint & Steel or a Fire Charge in your offhand, and you can even give other players a light. Alternatively, light your cigarette from a campfire or even a wildfire.
