ChaosBosses is a high-performance boss expansion mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge). It was built from the ground up to solve one specific problem: Vanilla bosses are boring.

Designed specifically for streamers and event creators like dan39danik, this mod transforms your world into a lethal arena. These aren’t just mobs with high HP; they are destructive titans that manipulate the environment, use complex combat patterns, and punish players who rely on “cheesy” tactics.

🛠️ How it Works

🚫 Safe for Your World

Unlike other mods, ChaosBosses do NOT spawn naturally. They will never ruin your builds or kill your players without your permission.

• Event Focus: This makes the mod perfect for scheduled server events, arena battles, or “Streamer vs Chat” challenges.

⚔️ Elite Combat Mechanics

• Destructible Environment: Many bosses will literally smash the ground, melt blocks into lava, or build obsidian cages around the player.

• Dynamic Health Bars: No cluttered UI. A custom, animated health bar appears directly above the boss’s head, showing their name, current HP, and phase status.

• Phase System: Every boss enters an “Enraged” state at 50% HP, gaining new abilities, faster movement, and deadlier attacks.

• Anti-Cheese System: Bosses have a built-in Damage Cap. No matter how powerful your modded sword is, you cannot “one-shot” these titans. You have to earn the kill.

• Sunburn Immunity: These monsters are masters of the night and day; they will not burn in sunlight.

💎 Rewards & Loot

Killing a Chaos Boss is a feat of strength, and the rewards reflect that:

• Massive XP: Bosses drop significant experience points to boost your late-game progress.

• High-Tier Materials: Expect drops like Netherite Scrap, Diamonds, and rare Enchanted Books.

• Victory Spoils: Each boss has a custom loot table designed to reward the entire raid party.

🟢 Tier 1: The Gatekeepers (Early Game)

1. Gravebound Warden: A slow tank that stuns players and burrows underground to strike from below.

2. Ash Brute: A walking volcano that leaves a trail of fire and explodes upon heavy contact.

3. Bone Herald: A master archer that shoots volleys of arrows and summons костяные (bone) cages.

4. Rotting Behemoth: A massive beast that breaks all blocks in its path and creates toxic swamps.

5. Blood Stalker: An agile assassin that gets faster as its health drops, using life-steal to survive.

🟡 Tier 2: The Elementals (Mid Game)

1. Plague Sovereign: Spreads infection through the air and heals from nearby poisoned players.

2. Frostbound Tyrant: Turns the arena into Blue Ice and freezes players in their tracks.

3. Storm Caller: Builds lightning towers and summons tornadoes to fling players into the sky.

4. Void Watcher: A master of teleportation that creates “Rifts” in the floor, causing players to fall into the abyss.

5. Iron Revenant: A metallic ghost that accumulates damage and releases it in a 3x power blast.

🟠 Tier 3: The Reality Warpers (Late Game)

1. Soul Devourer: Feeds on the souls of nearby mobs to gain “Soul Stacks” for massive AoE explosions.

2. Hex Witch: Uses “Body Swap” to switch positions with the player and sets magical traps.

3. Warped Colossus: A giant that toggles between high armor/low speed and low armor/extreme speed.

4. Abyss Knight: A duelist that parries incoming attacks and counter-strikes with 3x damage.

5. Chrono Keeper: Manipulates time to slow down everyone in a 15-block radius while speeding itself up.

🔴 Tier 4: The Harbingers (End Game)

1. Dread Captain: Commands an army of undead veterans and enters “Execution Mode” when his minions die.

2. Sandbound Judge: Summons quicksand vortexes and blinds players with massive sandstorms.

3. Blight Walker: Emits a constant Wither aura and heals itself based on the player’s Wither level.

4. Ember Howler: A beast that “runs” to build up speed, leaving a river of lava in its wake.

5. Stonebreaker: Literally eats the ground to build “Stone Armor” and creates massive earthquakes.

🟣 Tier 5: The Chaos Lords (Master Class)

1. Night Prowler: Becomes invisible to perform “Ambush” strikes from behind.

2. Thunder Mauler: Charges itself with static electricity, pulling all nearby players into a lightning strike.

3. Grave Conductor: Resurrects dead zombies and directs them into a coordinated “horde rush.”

4. Crimson Executioner: Marks players for death. If the player doesn’t deal enough damage in time, they are instantly executed.

5. Hollow King (The Final Boss): Builds a 40×40 Obsidian Arena upon arrival. Uses black holes, gravity inversion, and shadow clones to end your world.
