A Naruto and Boruto mod for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1. Roll your clan and chakra natures, learn jutsu by weaving hand seals, awaken your dojutsu, seal a tailed beast, and rise from Academy Student to Kage. Then carry the shinobi world into the Boruto era with power grids, ninja tech and vehicles.

Your Shinobi

• Spins: roll one of 105 clans (common, rare, legendary and mythic), up to five chakra natures, and 17 advanced releases: Wood, Ice, Lava, Boil, Storm, Scorch, Magnet, Explosion, Dust, Crystal, Dark, Swift, Steel, Mud, Typhoon, Yin and Yang.
• Ten stats: Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Fuinjutsu, Kenjutsu, Medical, Senjutsu, Kinjutsu, Health and Speed.
• Ninja ranks: Academy Student, Genin, Chunin, Jonin and Kage, earned through levels and missions.
• Mastery trees for every clan, nature, release, dojutsu and tailed beast you have.
• The Shinobi Handbook: every new player gets one, and it explains each system chapter by chapter.

Jutsu

• Over 3,000 jutsu: ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu, medical, sealing, summoning, space-time, senjutsu, kinjutsu and clan techniques.
• Hand seals: you cast by weaving seals. Canon jutsu use their canon sequences, and taijutsu and eye techniques use stances instead.
• 3D visuals for every jutsu: dragons, sharks, spears, domes, beams, tornados, chains and seal circles, coloured by nature. Every cast also has its own body animation.
• Signature jutsu work like they do in the story:
  • Rasengan and Rasenshuriken, Chidori, Great Fireball, Shadow Imitation.
  • Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Shinra Tensei, Chibaku Tensei, Kirin, Flying Thunder God.
  • The Eight Gates, Sand Coffin and Wood Release.
• Clan techniques: Hyuga, Akimichi, Yamanaka, Nara, Inuzuka, Uzumaki, Kaguya, Yuki, Hozuki, Aburame, Uchiha and more.
• Akatsuki, Kage and Otsutsuki techniques: Deidara’s clay, Kisame’s sharks, Hidan’s ritual, Konan’s paper, Dust Release, Lightning Chakra Mode, Daikokuten and more.
• Physical jutsu: prisons, domes, walls, spikes and swamps change the terrain for a while, then restore it.
• Nature advantages: each nature beats one other, and weather matters: rain weakens fire and water carries lightning.
• Genjutsu counterplay: break it with Kai, or have a teammate snap you out. A Sharingan sees through it or turns it back on the caster.
• Chakra sensing: sensors see chakra around them, and you can suppress your own to hide.

Dojutsu

• Sharingan: grows from one to three tomoe, then awakens into the Mangekyo, the Eternal Mangekyo and the Rinne Sharingan.
• Susanoo: crescent slashes, giant fists, Yasaka Magatama, the Sword of Totsuka and the Yata Mirror.
• Other eyes: Byakugan, Rinnegan with all Six Paths, Tenseigan, Jogan and more.
• Original eyes:
  • 14 eyes, each tied to its own clan.
  • 12 Mangekyo patterns.
  • 10 Rinnegan and 8 Byakugan variants.
• Eye transplants and eye theft: taking an eye starts a struggle minigame, and the victim is left with an empty socket.

Tailed Beasts

• All nine tailed beasts are bosses in their own lairs. Subdue one and seal it to become its jinchuriki.
• Chakra cloaks and forms: Version 1, Version 2, partial and full Tailed Beast Mode. Kurama’s modes go all the way to Baryon Mode.
• The inner world: meet your beast face to face and build your bond with it.
• The Gedo Statue and the Ten-Tails.

Body and Medicine

• Realistic health: six body parts, blood, pain, consciousness and a heartbeat.
• Wounds: bleeding, fractures, burns, lodged blades, infection and poison.
• Downed state: when you go down, you crawl and wait for someone to treat you.
• Surgery: a surgical table for setting bones, stopping bleeding, amputation and transplants.
• Prosthetics: steel, mechanical and Hashirama-cell limbs, and puppet limbs in six materials.
• Body augments: cursed seals with unique Stage 2 bodies, Hashirama Cells, Jugo’s enzymes and the Karma seal.
• Other dark arts: the Six Paths of Pain and Kakuzu’s Earth Grudge Fear.
• Death: you leave a corpse holding your gear and go to Limbo. Impure World Reincarnation can bring you back.

Summons and Puppets

• 14 summoning contracts, each with small, large and boss summons. Some summons can be ridden.
• Sage Mode for toads, snakes and slugs. The first player to reach each one becomes that Sage Mode’s Sannin.
• Custom puppets: build them from parts in six materials, or from human parts that keep their donor’s abilities.

Combat and Gear

• Chakra points that can be closed, chakra flow through weapons and fists, and parries and clashes.
• 13 legendary weapons: Kubikiribocho, Samehada, Hiramekarei, Kiba, Kusanagi, the Gunbai and more.
• Thrown weapons and tools: kunai, shuriken, senbon, explosive tags, smoke and flash bombs, ninja wire, caltrops and snare traps.
• Seven armour sets with set bonuses: Genin, Chunin, Jonin, ANBU, Akatsuki, Samurai and Kage.
• Accessory slots: Akatsuki rings, the sand gourd, necklaces and training weights.
• Forehead protectors: you can dye them, wear them ten ways, or slash them to go rogue.
• 25 clan and character outfits: they get torn and dirty in battle.

Training

• Chakra control: leaf concentration, tree climbing and water walking.
• Ninja movement: wall climbing, dashing, chakra jumps and walking on water.
• Training equipment: dummies, kunai targets and leg weights.
• Famous trainers in the hidden villages, who teach you new techniques.

The World

• Ten hidden villages: each has a Kage, guards, merchants, a mission desk and trainers.
• Landmarks: the Valley of the End, the Forest of Death, the Great Naruto Bridge, Orochimaru’s Hideout, the Akatsuki Hideout and more.
• Four dungeons with guards and bosses.
• Other dimensions:
  • Kamui and Limbo.
  • The tailed beasts’ inner worlds.
  • The sage lands.
  • The Moon, with low gravity and Toneri Otsutsuki as a boss.

Friends and Family

• Teams of four: a team chat, a shared health display and sensei XP bonuses.
• Families: marry another player or a villager, adopt new players, and pass your clan down to your children.
• Sparring: non-lethal duels.
• Minigames: Shogi with a full AI, Janken, Cho-han and Hanafuda, played for Ryo.

Cooking

• A full Japanese kitchen: pots, pans, steamers, fermentation barrels and a fridge.
• Food and drink: dozens of dishes, ramen, takoyaki, a yatai stall and a somen flume. Sake comes with a tipsy meter and hangovers, and a config option turns all drinks alcohol-free.

The Boruto Era

• Power grid: generators, batteries, cables, utility poles, pylons and substations.
• Steam power plant and a chakra reactor that can melt down.
• Ninja Tool Workbench: scientific ninja tools, phones, drones, chakra blades and more.
• Vehicles: electric cars, motorbikes, a delivery scooter, an airship, a mecha, a ferry, and the Thunder Train with stations across the world.

Compatibility

• Works with JEI, Jade and Curios.
• A config file controls PvP jutsu damage, terrain-changing jutsu, world events, dungeons and more.

Controls

I weave seals, R casts, U opens the jutsu menu, K shows your stats, J opens spins, M opens mastery, B toggles your eyes, Y opens accessories, Z shows your health, V activates your beast cloak and N enters your inner world. You can change any of them in Controls.
