Brewmaster! – A New Way of Making Potions

Brewmaster is a mod that adds an entirely new way of making, storing and obtaining potions! (Loosely inspired by Elden Ring’s Crystal Tear system).

Using the new Witch Cauldron block, you can throw all sorts of ingredients to combine their effects into a single, powerful brew!

Explore the world to find upgrades, in your quest to make the ultimate, all powerful Mixed Potion!

And before you ask: "Doesn’t this render the vanilla Brewing Stand obsolete?", the answer is: "Kinda but not really", as you still need it to make your Mixed Potion Lingering and Splashable (spoiler!).

Adding Effect Recipes

Do you want to add a recipe for other effects?
You can do it through a datapack! (It even works with effects from other mods!)

First, you need to create a <your_recipe_file>.json file detailing your recipe:

Then, put your recipe inside <datapack_root>/data/brewmaster/recipe/brewing/<your_recipe_file>.json

Compatibility

This mod features Just Enough Items (JEI) and Jade 🔍 compatibility for it’s recipes and tooltip info!
