Blast Rod

This mod adds a single block, the blast rod, that breaks every movable block is pushed into.

A blast rod can only break blocks that a piston can move, and only if the direction it is pushed is the same as it is facing, that is the opposite of where the iron part is.

However, a blast rod doesn’t need to be directly pushed by a piston, there may be other blocks from between the blast rod and the piston.

Recipe

From up to bottom in a vertical line, two blaze rods and an iron ingot.

You can place the ingredients in any column of the 3×3 Crafting Table grid.

Compatibility

This mod heavily edits the algorithm that calculates which blocks are pushed (or pulled) by a piston, and so it is incompatible with other mods that edit or interact with the same algorithm.

For instance, mods that change the number of blocks a piston can push (or pull).
