Bergie Tweaks

Bergie Tweaks are for bringing back some nostalgic features. At the moment, it doesn’t have a config file and it changes enchanting and item merging.

Old School Enchanting

This module brings enchanting back to 1.3 by removing the lapis requirement and changing the level requirement into a level cost. A level 30 enchantment will take 30 levels. In addition, the enchantment preview has been removed as well. The reason for this is to make enchanting a bigger deal, and a full set of enchanted gear will be a difficult pursuit to complete! (Unless you build a mob farm, in which case it’s just as easy as always.)

Old School Item Merging

This module removes the ability for items to clump up when a bunch are in one spot. So lapis and copper turn into big confetti blocks, and items go everywhere. Much more satisfying to see all the little items fall on the ground!
