Awakening Progression

The world wakes up, mod by mod.

Awakening turns a modpack into a journey. The mods you choose start locked: their blocks can’t be placed or broken, their items can’t be used or crafted, their mobs don’t spawn. The players awaken them one by one, together.

Three ways to awaken a mod

• Offerings — Open the Codex of Awakening (given on first login). Every locked mod has its own page with its logo, its description and an offering to bring. Offerings mix items from the mods awakened before, so the progression always moves forward.
• Strange relics — Rare purple ore deep underground and structure chests hold relics, each bound to a locked mod. Right-click one and the mod awakens for the whole server.
• The days — In survival, a mod also wakes up on its own every few days (configurable, can be turned off).

The Great Awakening

Once every mod is awake, one goal remains: bring the trophies of the world’s great bosses together with blocks of Solarite. The whole server is rewarded with a celebration and the Star of Awakening.

Solarite

A golden ore that glows in the dark. Ingots, blocks, tools and armor between iron and diamond, extra yield in Create’s crusher and Mekanism’s enricher, and an ingredient in many offerings.

For modpack makers

• Choose the locked mods in config/eveil-common.toml, grouping addons with their mod: "create+createdeco+create_connected".
• Write the offerings as a datapack (data/<namespace>/eveil_offerings/<mod>.json).
• Operator commands: /eveil status, /eveil unlock <mod>, /eveil lock <mod>.
• Creative players are never blocked.

Works in singleplayer and on servers (install on both sides).
