Atmospheric Fog and Mist is a client-side mod implementing volumetric fog and mist that gathers in specific environments at modest performance cost

Features:

• Volumetric fog that interacts with light
• Valleys: nearby higher terrain creates a shallow layer of mist in depressions
• Swamp: swamp and mangrove biomes receive ground hugging mist, the mist is more prevelent at night
• Caves: enclosed underground air receives cool haze, illuminated by nearby block lights
• Water: mist gathers above water surfaces, including pools below bridges or roofs. Its strength varies by day: some days are clear, some reach the configured maximum, and others fall in between. Mist fades in and out slowly
