ArmorSafe is a lightweight, fully client-side Fabric mod that helps prevent armor, tools, and Elytra from breaking during gameplay.

⚙ Configuration

All settings are configurable via ModMenu:

• Enable / disable automatic armor unequip
• Adjust durability warning thresholds
• Toggle visual and sound alerts
• Customize HUD behavior and position

🎮 How to Use

1. Install the mod

• Install Fabric Loader
• Install Fabric API
• Install ModMenu (recommended)
• Place ArmorSafe in your mods folder

1. Open settings

• Launch Minecraft
• Click Mods → ArmorSafe (via ModMenu)

1. Toggle the HUD

• Press H (default keybind) to enable or disable the durability HUD
• Keybind can be changed in Minecraft Controls

1. Move the HUD (Beta)

• Enable HUD Edit Mode in ModMenu
• Join a world
• Press E to open your inventory
• Left-click and drag the HUD to reposition it
• Disable HUD Edit Mode when finished

1. Automatic Armor Protection

• Enable auto-unequip in ModMenu
• Set the armor durability threshold
• When armor reaches the threshold, it will be unequipped and moved to your inventory before breaking

1. Fine-tune options

• Adjust warning colors and alert types
• Enable or disable individual features as needed
