Introduction

This mod makes small, vanilla-inspired changes to Minecraft’s archaeology system.

Current

• Make your own suspicious sand or gravel
  • Hold a brush in your off hand
  • Right-click a sand or gravel block with an item in your main hand to insert it into the block
• Make suspicious versions of several other blocks
  • Clay
  • Dirt
  • Mud
  • Packed mud
  • Red sand
  • Rooted dirt
  • Soul sand
  • Soul soil

Planned

• Additional possible suspicious blocks (dirt? red sand? who knows!)
• Craftable pottery sherds (similar mechanic to smithing templates)

FAQ

Will you port this to any other modloaders?

As of version 2.0.0, the mod is available for both Fabric and NeoForge. Other loaders are not currently planned, but may be considered in the future.

Can I use this in a modpack?

Absolutely!

Your textures kind of suck.

That’s not really a question. Also, ouch. I mean, you aren’t wrong, but I am a programmer, not an artist. So if you or someone you know is interested in making better ones, I welcome the contribution!
