HalfApollo’s GOLD AND GLORY

NOTE: Geckolib is required for this mod. 

Gold and Glory is a mod that adds features all relating to gold. 

Full feature list includes: 

• 1 new mob
• 3 new status effects
• 5 new golden foods
• 1 new functional block
• 2 new advancements

The Gold Golem: 

The Gold Golem is a new mob with 50 health that the player can summon by placing a Carved Pumpkin on top of a Gold Block. 

Apart from looking cute and dancing randomly, the Gold Golem has another purpose. Feeding it a gold ingot will restore some health to the player, so it is a good idea to bring this guy into any challenging fights. 

Golden Foods: 

This mod adds 5 golden food items, all crafted by surrounding their original verison in gold ingots. They also all restore the same hunger and saturation as their original versions and grant potion effects for 3 minutes. The new foods are: 

• Golden Pie – Haste II and Speed I
• Golden Berries – Night Vision and Glowing
• Golden Pufferfish – Poison Immunity and Wither Immunity (those effects are exactly what they sound like)
• Golden Bread – Heath Boost I and Resistance I
• Golden Steak – Strength I and Fire Resistance

Golden Beacon Booster: 

This is a powerful new block crafted with netherite ingots, gold blocks, and a nether star. Right clicking it while placed on top of a beacon will grant the player the Golden Blessing for 1 hour. 

The Golden Blessing’s effect grants glowing to every entity the player hits for 5 seconds, after those 5 seconds, that mob takes another 5 damage. 

New Advancements: 

• Curse of the Golden Stomach – eat all golden foods (including vanilla ones)
• All That Glitters is Gold – gain the Golden Blessing
