Anvil Ascension: Level X Enchants

Anvil Ascension extends every multi-level enchantment to level X while keeping the
progression familiar and survival-friendly: combine two enchanted books of the same
enchantment and level in an anvil to create the next level.

How it works

– Fortune III + Fortune III becomes Fortune IV.
– Fortune IV + Fortune IV becomes Fortune V.
– Sharpness IX + Sharpness IX becomes Sharpness X.
– Level X is the hard cap.
– Ascended enchanted books use a blue name and blue enchantment text.
– Ascended books can be applied to compatible equipment.
– Vanilla enchantment incompatibilities are respected.

The mod does not raise the limits used by enchanting tables, loot, fishing, villager
trades or world generation. Excessive levels are earned through anvil book progression
only. If a valid ascension operation reaches the Vanilla “Too Expensive” threshold,
the operation remains available at 39 levels.

Automatic compatibility

There is no hard-coded enchantment list. Every registered enchantment whose normal
maximum is greater than level I can ascend to level X, including conventional
multi-level enchantments added by other mods.

Single-level enchantments such as Mending, Silk Touch and Infinity are intentionally
unchanged.

– Minecraft 26.2
– NeoForge 26.2.0.72 or newer compatible 26.2 build
– Java 25
– Install on both client and server

No configuration file and no additional dependencies are required.
